Berlin has a lot of tourist hotspots. 

I would like to introduce Alexanderplatz and Fernsehturm(Television Tower) which are famous.

Alexanderplatz station has many subway lines and train lines. 

There are Alexanderplatz on the north of the station and Fernsehturm on the south of the station.

This place was East-Berlin area. In Cold War, East-Germany built a building for their system propaganda. 

That building was this TV tower. This tower which is the tallest structure in Germany has the height of 368 meters.

 

The purpose of this tower is to transmit radio waves like Namsan tower in Seoul. 

There are restaurants and the observatory on the upper floor of the tower.

The tower modeled the first satellite, Sputnik.

In front of the tower, There is a park next to St. Marien church.

You can see Berliner Dom in this park. 

It is enough to go to Museumsinsel(Museum Island) with Berliner Dom by walk.

There is a special bus line from Alexanderplatz station to Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten. That is bus number 100. 

This bus goes around famous tourist attractions in Berlin and has the second floor. 

If you sit on the second floor, you don't need the city tour bus. 

It is always busy inside the bus because lots of tourists take it.

There is Alexanderplatz on the north of the station.

This square is surrounded by the buildings, such as the department stores, hotels, offices, etc.

The special market is opened often in the square. It has almost always similar stores.

There are almost similar stores except for Christmas market season.

 Now, it is Oktoberfest season. So, there is additional Paulaner booth which is famous beer in the world.

In this square, there is an interesting clock tower.

The shape of the clock tower is round and it shows world time.
